Work & privacy

The first day of work was exhausting, overwhelming, but a little fun. It was great meeting new people, doing new things. I know it will take a bit of time to learn everything and retain all that information, but as soon as I get into the hang of things I'll be a machine. Anyway, I can't wait until tomorrow! The only bad thing is answering the phone and not understanding the person who's calling. Sometimes the phone is fuzzy or they have a thick accent. That's my only gripe so far. Oh, that and having to do a whole bunch of things in order to transfer calls to the "Head Honcho."

Anyway, I wanted to write today because I sent an e-mail to one of my representatives here in my district opposing SOPA & PIPA. These two are like the evil step-sisters from Cinderella. I hope that it goes answered, but I did not have the time to make phone calls today. I barely had time to call up my car insurance. I hope that these do not pass, but it seems like many people are doing what they can to try to stop them from becoming reality. Let's hope that our right to free Internet remains!
